In terms of production and distribution, SARANTIS Group possesses leading market shares in all strategic categories of its activity. Overall, SARANTIS Group operates in the broader region of Eastern and Southeastern Europe, via 8 subsidiary companies, in Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Czech Republic, F.Y.R.O.M., Hungary and Bosnia, while at the same time, the Group maintains a powerful distribution network in more than 20 countries via direct exports. It is also worth to mention that circa 65% of the Group’s total turnover stems from these countries according to management’s strategy.

Poland : Sarantis Polska S.A.

Sarantis Polska S.A. distributes products of the Cosmetics category (own brands as well as distributed products) such as STR8, C-THRU, NAIR, SPINBRUSH, PEARL DROPS, as well as brands of Household Products (JAN NIEZBEDNY, GROSIK, CAMEL, KORUNKA, AIR STOPPERS). During July 2010, the acquisition of the Polish brand KOLASTYNA has been announced. KOLASTYNA’s product range includes cosmetics for face and body care  as well as sun protection products. Sarantis Polska’s aim is to strengthen the position of each of the aforementioned brands in the polish market. The company’s operations include the production, merchandising, storaging and distributing the aforementioned brands, as well as products of private label that the company produces for major European retail accounts. Sarantis Polska at present is the market leader in the majority of the products’ categories.  Sarantis Polska’s export department is responsible for exports and sales in European countries, as well as Sarantis Group’s operations in Southeast Europe. It also cooperates with local representatives in Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany  and  France .

 

 

Romania: Sarantis Romania S.A.

Sarantis Romania S.A., GR. SARANTIS SA subsidiary was founded in September 1996. Sarantis Romania is the second largest contributor to total Group sales between the Group’s foreign countries. Note that the company distributes Gr. Sarantis SA products in the Romanian market, as well as distributed products such as JOHNSON & JOHNSON, ANTONIO PUIG, CHURCH & DWIGHT, EVYAP, and luxury brand names such as JUVENA, LA PRAIRE, CAROLINA HERERRA, PACO RABANNE,  etc.

Additionally, it is worth to note that since 2007 Sarantis Romania product portfolio incorporates, through an acquisition, the products of the well known Romanian company ELMIPLANT, a cosmetics company specialized in face and body care products. The company already distributes ELMIPLANT products (BIOTEN) in Greece, while export plans already exist for Serbia and Bulgaria.

Sarantis Romania is also very strong in distribution on pharmaceutical channel marketing brands like  ARTZANA, NEUTROGENA, LISTERINE, JOHNSON’S BABY etc.

 

 

Bulgaria: Sarantis Bulgaria Ltd

Sarantis Bulgaria was established in 1994 as the first subsidiary of Sarantis Group in Eastern Europe. The company's portfolio includes a wide range of mass market, semi-selective and selective perfumery and cosmetic products, personal care products, household products as well as health & care products. The successful operations of the company over the last 18 years brought significant growth and dominant market positions in key categories.
A significant portion of sales by the Consumer business unit refers to own brands which hold leading market shares in their segments - the men’s fragrance line STR8, the women’s fragrance lines C-THRU and BU, the sun care line CARROTEN as well as the Household Products FINO & TUBOFLO. In 2009 the company entered the haircare category with the successful launch of ORZENE brand.
The distribution agreements with the big multinational companies such as JOHNSON & JOHNSON, ANTONIO PUIG, CHURCH & DWIGHT, LABORATOIRES INGRID MILLET, LA PRAIRIE GROUP and ITF GROUP strengthen the company's activities in the distribution cosmetics sector. Indicatively, the distributed mass market products are: ANTONIO BANDERAS FRAGRANCES, MANGO, PEARL DROPS and NAIR.
The luxury cosmetics brands are distributed through the Selective business unit in prestige perfumery outlets : LA PRAIRIE, FRAGRANCES FROM LA PRAIRIE, INGRID MILLET, NINA RICCI, PACO RABANNE, CAROLINA HERRERA, PRADA, VALENTINO, DSQUARED, BLUMARINE, TRUSSARDI, GIANFRANCO FERRE, LOLITA LEMPICKA, etc.
The Heath & Care business unit serves the Pharma channel and secures the distribution of RoC, ARM&HAMMER and FEMFRESH brands on the Bulgarian market.

 

 

 

 

Serbia: Sarantis Belgrade Ltd.

Sarantis Belgrade, a subsidiary of the Sarantis Group, was established in 1997 with its domicile in Belgrade. The Serbian company’s activity includes the distribution of own Cosmetics and the exclusive distribution agreements with other mass market cosmetic products, as well as the distribution of own Household Products. Namely, the products distributed include, amongst others, the men’s fragrance line STR8, the women’s fragrance lines C-THRU and BU, the sunscreen line CARROTEN, the hair care line ORZENE, the CAMEL shoe products and the products FINO and TUB-OFLO, as well as the Fragrances ANTONIO BANDERAS. Furthermore, the activities of Sarantis Belgrade  include exports to Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Moreover, during 2011 Sarantis Group acquired the Serbian household products brand TOPSTAR that is present in the cleaning tools category and its product portfolio includes scourers, mops, wipes, etc. Through this acquisition, Sarantis further strengthens its position in  the household products category in the Serbian market.

 

 

 

Czech Republic: Sarantis Czech Republic S.R.O.

SARANTIS CZECH REPUBLIC became a member of the Group in 2002 after the acquisition of Pack Plast International by Gr. SARANTIS SA. Two years later the company was renamed from PACK PLAST CZECH to SARANTIS CZECH REPUBLIC.

The company distributes own brands of Cosmetics and Household Products, as well as products of other companies in the Czech and Slovak markets.

The own Cosmetics brands are: male fragrance line STR8, female fragrance lines C-THRU and B.U., suncare products of CARROTEN and haircare brand ORZENE. Own Household Products distributed include FINO and KORUNKA brands.

Since 2006 Sarantis Czech Republic distributes products of Church & Dwight company (Pearl Drops - tooth whitening products and  Spinbrush - battery tooth brushes). At the end of 2009 the Czech subsidiary also started a very promising cooperation with EVYAP company by taking over the distribution of their products - ARKO bar soaps, liquid soaps and shower gels. Within the first year of distribution ARKO has already managed to build an important positions in the local market.

Within the next year the business growth is expected to be driven mainly by new launches in the Cosmetics and the household products market (shower gels of C-THRU and B.U.; after shave balsams of STR8;  mops of FINO), new distribution agreements (Arm & Hammer of Church & Dwight), new principals’ contracts (e.g. with Polish company LAKMA - distribution of household detergents under Sidolux brand), as well as further expansion of the exports business in Slovakia.

 

 

Hungary: Sarantis Hungary Kft

The company Sarantis Hungary was established in 2006. In 2008 Sarantis Group acquired the Hungarian Household Products company Trade '90 Kft which has been activating since 1993 in Hungary in the Household products sector. Through this deal Sarantis Group acquired a company with homogeneous and supplementary activities to its core business and expanded its distribution power in Hungary. The two companies Sarantis Hungary and Trade90 Kft merged within 2009. The company’s operation include the production and distribution of own brands, as well as products of private label that Sarantis Hungary produces for major Hungarian retailers.

Moreover, during 2011 Sarantis Group acquired the Hungarian household products brand DOMET that is present in the cleaning tools category and its product portfolio includes scourers, mops, wipes, etc. Through this acquisition, Sarantis further strengthens its position in  the household products category in the Hungarian market.

The company distributes own Cosmetics brands such as: STR8, BU, CARROTEN and own Household Products: FINO, HEWA, FOX, DOMET & TUB-O-FLO. The distribution of the products is done through sales in all distribution channels: international & Hungarian key accounts, perfumery shops, wholesalers and retailers.

 

F.Y.R.O.M.: Sarantis-Skopje L.T.D.

Like the Serbian subsidiary, Sarantis Skopje was established in 1997 with its domicile in Skopje. Its main activity is the trade and distribution of own and distributed Cosmetics, as well as own Household Products. The products distributed include amongst others the men’s fragrance line STR8, the women’s fragrance lines C-THRU and BU, the haircare line ORZENE, the suncare products CARROTEN   the CAMEL shoe-care products and the Household Products FINO, AFROSO and TUB-O-FLO, as well as the fragrances of ANTONIO BANDERAS.

 

 

 

Bosnia: Sarantis Banja Luka Doo

Sarantis Banja Luka, a subsidiary of the Sarantis Group, was established in 2011 with its domicile in Banja Luka. The Bosnian company’s activity includes the distribution of own Cosmetics as well as the distribution of own Household Products. Namely, the products distributed include, amongst others, the men’s fragrance line STR8, the women’s fragrance lines C-THRU and BU and the household products for cleaning TOPSTAR.
